Dr. Steve D. Weiss, M.D, FAAP

Dr Weiss completed his undergraduate degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia and his Medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at North Shore University Hospital of the Cornell Hospital Center. Dr. Weiss is board certified and a fellow if the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Weiss is also Board Certified in Anesthesiology. Following his residency, he completed Fellowships in Metabolism at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Dr. Weiss has been involved with multiple medical positions in Western New York including leadership positions in the Buffalo Pediatric Society and Catholic Medical Partners. He currently serves on the Treasurer with the Buffalo Pediatric Society.

Dr. Weiss and his wife reside in Williamsville with their daughter. Their youngest son and daughter in law reside in Williamsville, while their eldest son, daughter in law and two grandchildren reside in Michigan. They all enjoy sailing, sports and travel.

Theresa M. Wegman, MD, FAAP

Dr. Wegman completed her undergraduate work at Cornell University, College of Human Ecology. After graduating Summa Cum Laude, Dr. Wegman went on to study medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed her residency in Pediatrics and served as Chief Resident at the Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Wegman is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

She resides in Kenmore with her husband and five children. In her free time she enjoys running and scrapbooking.

Tara L. Reimer, MD, FAAP

Dr. Reimer completed her undergraduate education at The State University of New York at Buffalo where she helped the women’s varsity cross country team win their conference championship. She also competed on the varsity indoor and outdoor track teams. Upon graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University Honor’s Program, Dr. Reimer went on to medical school at State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Reimer is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

She continues to run and enjoys many other outdoor sports. She currently lives in Marilla with her husband and three sons.

Joseph T. Kita, MD, FAAP

Dr. Kita completed his undergraduate degree at St. Bonaventure University. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University’s Honors Program, he attended the State University of New York at Buffalo to complete a degree in medicine. There he served as President of the local chapter of the American Medical Student Association and also sat on the medical school’s admissions committee.

He went on to complete a Pediatric residency at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong in Rochester, New York. During his residency, Dr. Kita received a grant to develop the Healthy Connections program in coordination with the local Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. The program helps to foster healthy bodies, hearts, and minds while further strengthening the existing mentorships between Bigs and their Littles. Dr. Kita is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Kita was the recipient of the 2014 Dr. Richard Judelsohn WNY Immunization Champion Award, recognizing his achievements as a strong advocate for pediatric and adolescent immunizations. He and his wife live in Orchard Park, with their two sons, and daughter. In their free time they enjoy playing soccer and golf, skiing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Matthew Guerinot, D.O

Dr. Guerinot is originally from Orchard Park, graduating from Orchard Park High School before going on to complete his undergraduate degree at University of Rochester. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, he went on to achieve his medical degree from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, near Portland, Maine. Following this, he completed his residency in Pediatrics at Golisano Children’s Hospital, part of University of Rochester Medical Center, in Rochester, NY.

Dr. Guerinot and his wife currently reside in Orchard Park. In his free time he enjoys golfing, collecting Legos and comic books, and rooting on the Bills, Sabres, and Red Sox.
